US pricing. Manually entered cards and cards on file are 3.5% + 15¢ on all plans. In-person rates are lower (2.4% to 2.6% + 15¢).
Square's US Payment Terms (updated July 30, 2026) list as unsupported: direct marketing or subscription offers, infomercial sales, up-sell merchants, rebate based businesses, buyers or membership clubs, telemarketing, and high-risk products and services. They do not mention dropshipping.
Square initiates payouts to the linked US bank account before 8 p.m. PT unless the seller sets a custom close of day.
WooCommerce sells a Square extension built by Woo that supports Apple Pay, Google Pay and WooCommerce Subscriptions. Neither Square nor Shopify publishes Square as a Shopify payment provider.
