Rate from Adyen's global price list, shown in USD. Interchange and scheme fees pass through, so cross-border cost depends on the card. Adyen states no monthly, setup, integration or closure fees, but applies a minimum invoice that depends on industry or business model. The chargeback fee is set in the merchant agreement and is not published.
On Adyen's prohibited and restricted list, nutraceuticals and food products (including highly regulated ones such as CBD), direct marketing and teleservices, and drop shipping are marked restricted for merchants, meaning Adyen requires additional documentation before onboarding. Deceptive marketing such as poorly disclosed negative options, and practices designed to evade chargeback monitoring programs, are prohibited.
Default Sales day payout runs daily. Banks may need up to three more business days to post funds.
Shopify offers an Adyen payments app for organizations that already have Adyen approval; it requires Shopify Checkout and supports post-purchase upsells. The WooCommerce plugin is listed by Adyen as partner-built, not built by Adyen.
