US standard pricing. Manually entered cards cost an extra 0.5%. Custom pricing (IC+, volume and multi-product discounts) is offered to businesses with large volume or unique models through sales.
Stripe's restricted business list prohibits negative option marketing, reduced price trials with unclear pricing, businesses that make outrageous claims or use high-pressure upselling, telemarketing, and evasion of chargeback monitoring programs. Supplements and nutraceuticals are only listed as prohibited when unsafe or making harmful claims (vitamins are prohibited for Thailand accounts). Stripe's own dropshipping guide says it can support dropshippers; Indian Stripe accounts cannot accept international payments for dropshipping.
Payout schedule can be daily, weekly, monthly or manual. The first payout is typically scheduled 7-14 days after the first live payment, depending on industry, country and risk level.
Stripe says Shopify partners with Stripe to power Shopify Payments, but neither company publishes Stripe as a standalone Shopify third-party payment provider. WooCommerce has an official Stripe extension built by Stripe.
