NMI is a payment gateway and embedded payments platform sold mainly through ISOs, software companies and payment facilitators, which white-label it. The gateway supports multiple MIDs, transaction routing, a customer vault and recurring billing.

NMI publishes no pricing. Partners set their own fee schedules under a revenue-share model, so merchants get gateway pricing from the ISO or software company that resells it. Card processing rates come from the separate merchant account.
NMI is a gateway, not an acquirer; acceptance depends on the processor and reseller. NMI publishes a case study of IntegralPay, a medium- and high-risk ISO, using its white-label gateway. PaymentCloud, Durango, Easy Pay Direct, SeamlessChex and SoarPay all list NMI or NMI-based gateway options.

NMI announced an upgraded Shopify integration for its partners in June 2024, and its gateway page refers to a Shopify integration plugin. WooCommerce connects through third-party plugins listed on WordPress.org; no official NMI WooCommerce plugin was found. The gateway page claims 125+ shopping carts and 200+ processor connections.
